I’m Jordan and I am a musician/teacher/aspiring forensic archaeologist.
My mantra: If its stimulating, then I’m all for it. And its not in a overtly-sexual nature, more of an attitude that I love culture, languages and music from all over the world. If I can learn from an experience, then I’ll probably try it. This has led me to study in a deserted island in Costa Rica and in a Neolithic garbage pit in Xi’an, China.
This blog will focus on what I do with my “spare” time. I’d like to use it as a teaching resource for other O’Connor Method teachers, and as a forum for my students and their families. However, its unlikely that I’ll be able to limit myself to my musical adventures; so you’ll probably see a mix of volunteer projects, politics, and some of my academic ventures.
You can see me:
- playing with the Lake Union Civic Orchestra
- around the Junior League of Seattle office
- teaching at Music Works Northwest, a full-service music school in Bellevue, WA
- OR in this silly music video I played violin for
